When Nature Attacks

No matter how far our "civilization" advances or how big our cities get nature is never very far away. This morning, watching the local news, I see this story about a sighting of one or more mountain Lions in Hayward, California.

The first sighting occurred at about 6:43 p.m. Sunday when a resident witnessed the mountain lion in the back yard of his home in the 1100 block of Garin Avenue, according to police. California Department of Fish and Game personnel viewed videotape provided by the resident and confirmed that the animal was a mountain lion.

Yikes.
