Since I got into the Google+ beta I've gotten the urge to start keeping this 'blog up to date again. It's been almost a year since my last post and a lot has changed for me.
For those of you who might not know I've left my job and applied to the Peace Corps. My recruiter tells me he thinks I am a strong candidate and all they really have to do is find a project for me. Right now all the Biz Dev and IT projects have been filled. So I'm working on getting experience teaching english as a second language. I've volunteered with an organization called Arriba Juntos here in San Francisco and I start my first class on Wednesday. I'm nervous and excited about it since I've never done anything like this before but that is what "life changes" are all about... doing things you've never done before.
I plan to use this 'blog to post about what I'm doing and what my progress is and eventually keep folks up to date on where I get posted with the Peace Corps. For those of you who are still subscribed and get this via email if you don't want to be subscribed let me know and I'll remove you from the list.
In the mean time it is time for me to go get on the stationary bike. I'm almost down to 190 lbs and I've got more weight to lose.
