The young fellow that was born in the SF Zoo on 8 December was introduced to the public this week via video feed. And the new pictures are absolutely adorable. Adorable! You have to click this link and view this picture now. Do it now.
The SF Zoo is sponsoring a contest to name the little guy and one of the prizes is getting to spend time asking the keepers questions. It's not getting to actually spend time with the gorilla, but it's damn close. Come September, though, I should be having my own "gorillas in the mist" experience in Rwanda so this picture of the SF Zoo gorilla just whets my appetite and makes me want to jump on a plane and go right now.
Patience, grasshopper, patience.
