Down To Brass Tacks

Now that Sentator Obama has pretty much wrapped up the Democratic nomination he's aiming his sights directly at Senator McCain. And boy is that a big target. ABC News is reporting that Sen. Obama completely ignored Sen. Clinton in his latest stump speech and went after Mr. MacCain.
"Sen. McCain is running for president to double down on George Bush's failed economic policies. I am running to change them and that will be the fundamental difference in this election when I am the Democratic nominee for president," Obama said in a speech yesterday in Beaverton, Ore.

Indeed. It's time the Democratic nominee started going after Mr. McCain with everything they have. A McCain presidency would be nothing more than a third term for George Bush. McCain won't change any policies, and he will continue to get us involved in wars aggression against countries that have not attacked us nor threatened us in any meaningful way.

If that's what you want then by all means vote for McCain. Just don't come whining to me when the military comes for your children to fight the wars he's gotten us into. George Bush may be going down in history as the worst president ever, but a McCain administration, whether it be for one or two terms, would be a very, very close number 2 in the history books.

This country simply can't take another 4 to 8 years of GOP rule. And the American public knows it.
